How can I order the products I want?
Browse AILC by clicking on the product categories on the left of the screen. Click on product pictures to see more information and to load a larger picture.
When you have found a product you want to buy, either click on the thumbnail or "more detail" the item details window will then appear this will allow you to choose sizes or colours if applicable, check the details are correct and select update, then "buy now" to add to your shopping basket, from here you can goto the "Checkout" and complete your purchase or "keep shopping" to return to the shop.
Once an item is added to your shopping basket the item together with cost, quantity and options "if chosen" will be shown. For multiple items the total cost of items in the basket will be calculated automatically. Remember that all AILC prices include VAT and that delivery to the UK mainland is free on orders over £50.00.
When you have finished shopping or at any any time you would like to view your cart, click the "ShoppingCart" link in the top navigation bar, from here you can view your items and proceed to the simple and secure payment process.
Whilst in the Checkout page you can enter any promotional coupons or Gift Vouchers these will then be deducted from your total.
The next stages will depend on wether you are an existing customer or a new customer:
New Customer, You will be guided through setting up your account, this will include shipping and billing address, username and password (so you will be able to track your order online) Remember you user name and password as this will allow you to track your order on line also if you require more products at a later stage you will not have to re-enter your details. Once this has been completed you will be asked for your delivery type, Select either "Royal mail 1st class", "Special Delivery" or "international order".
Existing Customer, Sign in either before you add items to your cart or during the checkout stages, Then select your delivery type and finally payment terms.
Online Payment options, The next page will ask for your payment type, two options exist:
"pay by mail", (default option) if you do not want to pay online using your credit card details using Paypal's secure server then choose this option, from here you can complete your transaction and print your pro-forma invoice (Bank details and payment options will be on the Pro-forma Invoice). as soon as we receive payment we will ship your goods. You can either send payment by check or bank transfer. Be sure to remember your username and password to check your order status online.
"Credit/Debit card", The second option is payment using your Credit / Debit card and are taken using Paypal's secure server, no card details are held on our systems. This is the quickest way of receiving your items. You will receive notification from both Paypal's server and our system notifing you of your transaction. Be sure to remember your username and password to check your order status online.
If you'd rather not place your order online, you can order over the phone.
You don't need to read out the names of the products when you order, so it's safe to order within earshot of colleagues and co-workers!
You can add items to the basket in the usual way and select the "Pay by mail" option, print this out or take a note of the "Order number", then call us on 0870 2351 282 to place your order quoting your Order no: which is displayed on the top of the order confirmation page. We can then take your Credit/Debit card details and complete your transaction.
